This is why we moved The House of the Lost Boys to that same rock shelf in the valley on which The House of the Broken Angels (Engelbrecht) sits:
- The wizard realized the cognoscenti enjoy hanging together more than apart.
- The previous location would have situated these six rooms too far from the interior comforts of Spence Manor and Engelbrecht House.
- The view from this new spot in the valley – with Pennie’s magnificent terraced gardens stair-stepping down, down, down, and Chapel Dulcinea rising high above – will be far more private, intimate, and complex.
- This location allows us to put the pig-roasting pit from Brian Scudamore and the gang at 1-800-GOT-JUNK in a spot where the largest number of people can gather for a feast.
- When the wizard casually mentioned this possibility to Princess Pennie (who has complete authority in such matters,) she was instantly enthusiastic.
- Brittington was instantly enthusiastic, as well.
- Three days after we made this decision, we were informed by the authorities of Hays County, Texas, that our previous location was zoned strictly for single family dwellings. Serendipity! Our new valley location is unrestricted. Woo-hoo!
