VARIATION “A”: You get your work done on time and people really like you.
You don’t have to do amazing work.

VARIATION “B”: You get your work done on time and you do amazing work.
You don’t have to be liked.

VARIATION “C”: You do amazing work and people really like you.
You don’t always have to get your work done on time.

The goal, of course, is to deliver amazing work, on time, and have people really like you.

But two out of three will do.
