In the spirit of early adopters and first followers, this is a 40 year-old song written by 2 members of that British Band, Hot Chocolate, made popular in the US by Stories, their First Followers in America. Interracial marriage was a big controversy in those days. 40 years later it’s a non-issue.
We truly do become an entirely different people every 40 years…
