If you recall the rabbit hole of Nov. 3, you’ll remember Jeff Eisenberg’s suggestion that Wizzo and the Princess see The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel. They did. I saw it with’em. Judy Dench. Doesn’t get better than that.

Anyway, there’s a scene where a young hotel manager tries to tell some oldsters that he understands their agedness by smiling and saying, “You have heard the chimes at midnight, and have grown long in the tooth.”

That line, “heard the chimes at midnight,” rang my bell. (Pun intended.)
So I decided to ask the Goog about it, then got distracted and forgot to follow through.
