Dear Indy,
I have been following, reading, digesting, and pondering the Wizard for well over the decade. I have had the privilege of drinking purple coffee with a rowdy group of dreamers on the campus.
I do not consider myself creative in way other than some genetically miswired synapses that occasionally strike a chord like a stray bolt of lightning. I love art but can’t paint, I love music but can’t play, and I can tolerate poetry until it is explained by someone who see’s it.
The wizard’s memo and your rabbit hole keep me grounded, the art connected, the quotes inspired, and the stories leave me yearning for more.
I was recently asked to create a new marketing video for a brand I work with. I am not a marketer but I appreciate their art. So I sucked up and dug deep and asked myself how Roy would tackle this. So here is what I chartered to be created with the help of those who truly do have the technical chops to pull it off.
So here is my attempt to not sell a marriage cruise.

I share this not in hope of getting free promo or publicity because this event sold out in record time and it doesn’t even happen till February of 2017. Even if you you wanted join us I have no room.
I was curious am I close, do I even have clue what the Wizard has been trying to teach me?
Just be clear, I did not write the final script, nor did I shoot or edit it. I came to my team around the premise of “Valentine’s Day Sucks” and the comedy of errors around it versus a week on our cruise.
I would hate for the team to feel like I am taking all the credit. I had the spark, but they had the chops to turn it into a musical which surprised even me.
Till we meet again.
The very not so artistically or creative padawan wannabe Wizard fan,
