Unexpected perks,
Walking dogs at noon…

I love the blue in my wife’s eyes,
Road trips in July,
Counting off the miles…​
And smiles.​

I love Sunday Afternoons,
Sunny days in June,
Not using the word like…​
And bikes.​

I love helping out a friend,
Things that I can mend,
Looking at the stars…​
And cars.​​
