According to the Foundation for Economic Education, each of the states on the above map is named for a country whose GDP (Gross Domestic Product) they equal. EXAMPLE: California has a GDP equal to India. New York has a GDP equal to Canada. Pennsylvania has a GDP equal to Saudi Arabia!
