Prior to Covid, the Gross Domestic Product of Jamaica was about $16 billion per year. The tourism industry provides about one-fourth of all jobs in Jamaica. In recent years, Jamaica has become a regional leader in Information Technology Export Services (ITES). As the largest English speaking territory in the Caribbean, Jamaica has more than 30 companies operating in the country employing 11,500 full-time agents.
