RICHIE: I come from a family of jewelers. My grandfather was a jeweler. He taught my dad and uncles jewelry. My dad died in a car crash when I was three years old, so my Uncle Joe taught me. I was at UCF and he asked if I wanted to apprentice with him for the summer. He said if I liked it I could stay. I loved it. I had the gift. In ’85, we opened Gold In Art Jewelers, and that began the next chapter in this family jewelry saga.
