Kindergarten, in Indonesia, is as expensive as college, but it gives kids whose parents can afford it a huge advantage that stays with them for life, allowing them to outperform the poorer kids year after year.

Kindergarten for their child is the impossible dream of every poor parent.

Roy and Pennie have known Misi since she was a little girl. They helped her buy the land on which her new kindergarten building will be built. She and her husband Jonathan and their children lived primarily off the fish Jonathan speared in the ocean each day off the island of Flores (meaning flowers) while they were creating their life-changing kindergarten.

This school is a gift from heaven to kids whose parents have no money.

After five years of serving the children of the poor, they hope to replace the rented building they have used for 5 years with a strong, permanent building on land they now own. Misi is encouraging other enthusiastic people all across Indonesia, teaching them how to do exactly what she has done.
