Warren Zevon began howling “Ahh-ooh” in 1978, but Werewolves of London was difficult to record because it was a little too lightweight musically, so Warren asked Fleetwood Mac’s rhythm section to help.

“I’d like to meet his tailor,” and “His hair was perfect,” made the song’s lyrics compellingly sing-alongable. The most memorable scene in The Color of Money features Tom Cruise becoming a pool-playing werewolf as he is energized by that song. – Indy Beagle
