Hypostasis (Hi POSS ta siss) is a technique in fiction writing in which characters become aware of their own fictional nature. Hypostasis is often marked by an exchange between the created and the creator. This short video is an excellent example of it.
The photo of the boy in prayer is an example of hypostasis:
Believers say the boy is created in the image of God.
Atheists say the boy creates God in his own image.
