As the fiddler raised his bow, Susan Gibson looked up at the ceiling and said,
“I really wish I had a BOYFRIEND.” Brought the house down.

Susan Gibson is the award-winning songwriter of Wide Open Spaces and a number of other top-of-the-chart hits. She was a surprise guest performer at Indiana Beagle’s Rescue Party on Friday, June 4, 2010.
No one knew Susan was coming. Vi had brought his violin into Tuscan Hall only because he didn’t want to leave it in a hot car on a bright summer afternoon. Vi lives in Evansville, Indiana. You’d have thought he had been practicing with Susan every day for months. Magic.
