I bought the Sofia rosé last week because it was incredibly pretty: the bottle, the label, the color of the wine – all of it.
I bought this week’s obscure wine for precisely the opposite reason. The only wine label that might be more generic than this one would simply say WINE in stenciled, black letters.
And this wine is from Austria.
Seriously? They grow wine in Austria?
And the name of the grape is “Veltliner.”
Okay, I’m in. That’s pretty weird.
