Our little cathedral in Pennie’s new Tuscan Terrace is one of the garden follies scattered across the campus. Garden follies are whimsical buildings that serve no real purpose. According to WIKIPEDIA, “In English, the term began as ‘a popular name for any costly structure considered to have shown folly in the builder.'” If you Google Garden Folly, you can see some really awesome ones in Europe. Do you want to see an inverted tower garden folly that plunges 88-feet into the earth?
