It took Viktor Frankl only 9 days to write Man’s Search for Meaning in 1946. The English translation was published in 1959 and became an international bestseller. In a 1991 survey conducted for the Library of Congress and the Book of the Month Club, Frankl’s book was named one of the 10 most influential books in the US.
