Dear Roy,
I shouldn’t have been surprised that you of all people found Шекспир плачет, my Russian-language  YouTube channel. To my knowledge, most of my English-speaking acquaintances are unaware of its existence – naturally so, because they wouldn’t understand anything.

I have an old chum out here, Misha, who I taught English to when I first lived here as a student. I taught his boss’ wife in a school I worked at, she got me a side gig teaching at his boss’ company, and so I taught him. He’s since made a living in gaming and internet projects, and a couple of years ago, started badgering me about starting a YouTube channel.

I flatly refused. I had nothing to say, and nobody would be interested.

We’re now up to 27k subscribers.
